Ready the Snow Removal Operations...

Summary

Cold, cloudy, and windy today with a chance for light snow showers this afternoon that could bring a dusting of snow. Temperatures in the 20's will feel even colder with the winds. Sunday the winds calm down a little with some sun and highs in the 30's. The next storm moves in late Sunday night into Monday with more cold and snow. The snow showers should taper off Monday night. We could see another 4-10 inches at lake level and 6-14 inches on the mountains, similar to the last storm. Then a break Tuesday into Wednesday but it stays cold with highs in the 20's on the mountains. Thursday a strong and cold multi-day storm could be moving in. We could see moderate to heavy snowfall Thursday into Saturday. This storm has the potential to dump several feet of snow over the area. So we will be tracking it closely all week. The active pattern looks to continue into the week of the 5th.
