Weak Systems, Shots of Cool Air, & Gusty Winds...

Summary

- Scattered snow showers possible Tuesday with snow levels around 6,000 - 6,500 feet. We could see a dusting to an inch of snow on the mountains. Highs in the 30's. Ridgetop winds gusting up to 50 mph. - We will see sunny weather for Wednesday with highs in the 40's. Mountaintop winds will still be gusty. - A system will drop down from the north on Thursday bringing some cooler air and a chance for snow showers into Thursday evening. We could see a dusting up to an inch or two on the mountains through Thursday night. Highs cool into the 30's on the mountains and low 40's at lake level. - We should see dry weather Friday into Saturday with highs in the 30's on the upper mountains and 40's at lake level Friday, warming 10 degrees for Saturday. - Another system could drop down from the north Sunday - Sunday night cooling temperatures back into the 30's on the upper mountains and 40's at lake level into Monday. A final system could drop down from the north next Tuesday - Tuesday night with a chance of snow showers and a reinforcing shot of cooler air. - High pressure may build in by next Wednesday the 17th bringing a prolonged dry pattern.
