Heavy Cold and Light Snowfall This Weekend...
Summary
- Sunny with highs in the 60's for Friday, but with increasing winds gusting up to 40 mph at lake level and 60 mph on the ridges. - A cold front moves through Saturday bringing much colder air, rain/snow, and gusty winds. Snow levels falling near lake level by evening. Ridge winds up to 60 mph. Highs only in the 40's at lake level and 30's on the mountains. Saturday night lingering snow showers possible early and then some clearing. 1-3 inches of snow possible above 7,000 feet. - Sunday we could see sun and clouds with some scattered snow showers. Highs in the 40's at lake level and 30's on the mountains. Sunday night we could see another round of accumulating snow. Another 1-3 inches of snow is possible, even down to lake level. - We start to clear out on Monday but stay cold with highs in the 30's & 40's. We start to warm up through the week next week, but still below-average temperatures with highs only in the 50's.
