Weak Systems with Light Snow...
Summary
- Monday we have drier weather with some sun and highs in the 30s. Overnight lows in the teens with lighter winds expected. On Tuesday we should see increasing clouds and winds in the afternoon with highs in the 30s. Ridgetop winds gusting to 40+ mph by evening. - The next storm will weaken as it moves into CA on Wednesday. Most forecast models show only a few scattered snow showers with a dusting to an inch of snow, while a few models show the system possibly holding together better bringing a few inches. - Thursday and Friday we should be dry with highs in the 30s and lows in the 20s. Warming into the 40s at lake level Friday. - Saturday we should stay dry with winds increasing as the next storm approaches. Then later Saturday night into Sunday we could the next storm push in with light-moderate snow. That system clears out next Monday. Snowfall looks to be in inches not feet. - Going through the week of the 23rd we may see a cool and somewhat dry pattern, with weaker systems possibly bringing more snow.
