The Dry Weather Continues, Chance for Weekend Showers...

Summary

- We start the week in a dry and cool pattern with sunny skies and highs in the 30s for the upper elevations and 40s for the lower elevations through Wednesday. A cool northeast wind on the mountain tops gusting to 30+ mph. Then warming back into the 40s on the upper mountains and near 50 at lake level Thursday - Friday. - Next weekend we could see some clouds and maybe a few showers Saturday if a cut-off low moving Southern CA is far enough north. If not then sunny skies continue. Sunday we could see a system move through to the north, possibly brushing us with a few rain/snow showers. - The week of the 24th we may continue a drier pattern. We may see some cut-off lows drop down off the coast through the end of the month and into March. We will have to watch the track to see if any track east into CA with precipitation for the Sierra.
