Biggest Storm of the Season?...

Summary

- Sun and clouds through Friday. We could see a few showers reach south of the lake Wednesday. Highs in the 40s on the upper mountains to near 50 at lake level through Friday. Ridgetop winds gusting to 30+ mph from the east at times, switching southwest Friday and increasing late in the day. - A cold storm moves in Saturday and lasts through the weekend. That could bring us light snow by Saturday morning with heavier snow possible Saturday night into Sunday. We will be watching the potential track all week and its implications on potential snowfall amounts as they could be in feet instead of inches. Expecting ridgetop winds gusting to 65+ mph and highs dropping into the 20s on the upper mountains and 30s at lake level. - We could see a second wave move in and keep the snow chances going for Monday into next Tuesday. Then maybe a break for the 2nd half of next week with the chance for more systems in the long-range. Expecting temperatures to remain below-average.
