Winding Down...

We saw scattered snow showers yesterday afternoon through this morning.  That will continue today.  None of the 3 open ski resorts are reporting any accumulations this morning.  We should see more showers today with the chance for a light accumulation on the mountains.

After a break Tuesday the next storm is still on track for Wednesday into Thursday.  We will see cooler temps and snow showers again with snow level near to just above lake level.  There is the chance for a few inches of snow on the mountains.

Right now the models are in fairly good agreement that we clear on Friday and have a Sunny weekend.

Next week the GFS shows a cut-off low moving into CA by the end of the week.  The Euro shows high pressure keeping the storm track to the North.

So no big storms in the forecast.  Friday may have been the last decent powder day of the season.  We could add a few inches here and there but chances diminish going into May.  A strong storm in May is not out of the question, just less likely, but we will keep watching until the rest of the ski resorts close.

Stay tuned...BA
