Here Comes Winter!

Summary

Mild but slightly cooler weather will be in place Monday through Wednesday with lots of sun and highs in the 50's on the mountains, and near 60 at lake level. Starting Thursday the winds should pick up and temperatures should be cooler with highs only in the 50's. That is ahead of the next storm moving in for the weekend. We have a storm moving in Friday that may last through most of the weekend. We could see a few waves of heavier precipitation move through. We are still not certain on the timing and snow levels, but we could see 1-2+ feet of snow on the mountains Friday through Sunday. Highs will only be in the 30's on the mountains. The cold and active weather pattern may continue in the long-range for at least 10 days starting Friday.
