Baby Steps...

Summary

The weather will be partly sunny and mild through Monday. Highs will be in the 50's today at all elevations. Then cooling a few degrees starting Saturday with highs will be in the 40's on the upper mountains and 50's at the bases and lake level. The winds will pick up today, with ridge top gusts of 40+ mph into Saturday. Next week we should remain dry through at least Tuesday morning. Then Tuesday night the first wave of precipitation should move in with high snow levels and light rain. That may continue into the day on Thursday with snow levels falling very slowly through the period, maybe bottoming out briefly as low as 7000 feet. Only expecting a few inches of snow above 8,000 feet through Thursday. Another storm could move in the weekend of the 6th with more light rain and high elevation snow. Then going into the week of the 8th we could see a couple stronger and colder storms.
