One Last Wave

One last weak wave will hit Utah later today (Tuesday).  Mountain snow showers are likely, mainly north of SLC, but a few snow showers are possible in the Cottonwoods/PC areas as well.  Not much to this system, but could get the aid of daytime heating so there's a chance that brief snow showers could be heavy.  Accumulations will be minimal.

Tomorrow, we clear out and start a warm-up that will continue into the weekend as high pressure builds.  It looks like a trough will form off the Pacific coast early next week.  We should start to see moisture increase by Tuesday of next week.  Too much uncertainty right now.  Usually these type of systems have higher snow levels and are poorly organized by the time they reach us.  We shall watch.
