Update

Saturday should be another sunny day with dry weather and high temperatures in the upper 20s to low 30s.

The next storm is on track to bring snow from late Saturday night through Monday afternoon and I will stick with my forecast of 5-10 inches.

On Sunday, we will see at least a few inches of thick, dense snow. Then the best chance for deeper totals and fluffier snow will be on Sunday evening through the first half of Monday as temperatures cool and the wind direction becomes more favorable from the west-northwest or northwest.

You should find the softest and deepest snow on Monday morning. And with a bit of luck, we will hit the high end of the forecast range.

Next Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday should be dry.

Looking into mid-December, the first chance for snow will be from Friday to Saturday, December 13-14. This storm might clip northern Colorado, but right now the odds are against big snow totals.

The second chance for snow will be from Sunday to Monday, December 15-16. This storm looks more likely to make a direct hit on Colorado and I’ll be keeping a close eye on these days for potential powder.

Thanks for reading and check back each morning for daily updates!
