Summary

The pattern remains active across the southern half of the western US, with showers possible across Washington starting this weekend. Accumulations will be minor but at least it will be will be cold with some snowflakes flying. A storm will drop down from the Gulf of Alaska around the middle of next week with a better chance for more solid snow totals.
