More Active Pattern Ahead, But Overall Not a Great One

Summary

We will soon transition out of our current dry pattern to a more stormy one. However, the new pattern is not particularly favorable to cold storms with the potential for good snow accumulations. As early as Thursday, though, the first of these warm storms will bring rain and high-elevation snow to the region. Better storms are possible starting this weekend.
