Bitter cold to ease this week

Summary

The painfully chilly cold spell is almost finished. Just one more day on Sunday. The sunshine has felt great, but the arctic cold is nasty. The core of the arctic air is falling apart and moving eastward. It will still be chilly, but closer to normal by mid week. There will be occasional snowfall, but mainly light amounts, until later in the week when a robust snowstorm hits.
