Update

Tuesday started cloudy but turned into a perfect day with bluebird skies, light winds, and high temperatures that hit the low 20s.

The rest of the week, from Wednesday through Friday, will also be sunny with warmer temperatures. Highs on Wednesday should be in the upper 20s to low 30s, with temperatures reaching the 30s to low 40s on Thursday and Friday. The only hiccup might be more clouds on Friday. Wear sunscreen and enjoy spring skiing!

The next storm will be weak and should bring a chance for light snow (a dusting to a few inches) from Friday night through Saturday night. If we get lucky with the track of this storm, we might be able to grab 3-6 inches, but again, that will take some luck. If you’re looking for softer snow, keep your eye on Saturday and perhaps Sunday first chair. This storm will be warmer than the past storm with high temperatures in the 20s.

Following the chance of snow this weekend, we should have dry weather during the early and middle part of next week, then all weather forecast models are indicating that a stormy pattern should set up over the western US starting around Friday, March 16th and that the stormy pattern should continue for 5-7 days or perhaps a little longer. We should enjoy multiple powder days during this stretch.

Thanks for reading and stay tuned for an update each morning!
