Update

Freshies on Thursday morning!

The storm came through as expected with snow falling from late Wednesday afternoon through Wednesday evening. The mid-mountain snow stake shows 3 inches of accumulation. Enjoy the new flakes on Thursday morning.

Thursday through the weekend

Expect dry and warmer weather with highs in the upper 20s and low 30s. There might be a light shower at some point on Saturday.

Next week (December 17-21)

We might see a few showers around Tuesday, December 18 and then there is a slightly better chance for snow later in the week, around Thursday and Friday, December 20-21.

After December 21st

I have low confidence in the forecast for the end of December. Some models and factors indicate that we’ll see a return to stormy weather while other signs point to less of a chance for snow. I’m just not sure, and this lack of confidence is typical of forecasts that look out 10-15 days into the future!

Thanks for reading and check back each morning for daily updates!
