Update

Storm 1: Tuesday Night – Thursday Night

We are waking up on Wednesday morning to find 1-2 inches of snow that fell on Tuesday night.

The first part of the storm, from Tuesday night through Wednesday afternoon, will be warm with scattered snow. Due to a large amount of moisture in the air, any shower can quickly deliver 1-3 inches of snow, and since we’ll see a few rounds of showers on Wednesday, accumulations could be anywhere from 1-6 inches.

The second part of the storm, from Wednesday night through Thursday night, will be cooler. We should see a period of intense snow on Wednesday evening and then snow showers should continue into Thursday. Total snowfall should be 3-6 inches during this part of the storm, and there is upside potential if the intense period. Of snow on Wednesday night lingers longer into Thursday morning.

The best chance to find the deepest powder should be on Thursday.

Storm 2: Friday Afternoon – Saturday Afternoon

Following a break in the snow on Friday morning, expect intense snow on Friday afternoon or early evening, and then we’ll see snow showers continue on Friday night through Saturday afternoon.

While the snow on Friday afternoon could be dense, we’ll quickly see cooler air arrive and the snow that falls on Friday night and Saturday should be fluffy.

Due to limited moisture with this storm, I’ll keep my expectations in check and go with a 3-6 inch forecast. The best powder should be on Saturday.

Storm 3: March 12-14

I am still expecting snow from around Tuesday, March 12 through Thursday, March 14, and the best chance for powder should be on Wednesday, March 13 and/or Thursday, March 14.

Longer Range

After March 14th, we might see a break in the snow for at least a few days.
