Winter Park Daily Snow

Update
Monday and Tuesday
These days will be dry, partly sunny, and warm with a high temperature in the 40s on Wednesday and maybe touching 50 degrees on Tuesday. Expect classic spring skiing with firm conditions in the morning and softer/slushy conditions in the afternoon.
Storm Wednesday & Thursday
We will see showers late Tuesday night, then expect steadier snow on Wednesday and Wednesday night.
I will stick with my earlier forecast for 5-10 inches of snow, and there’s a chance that we’ll go above this range if everything comes together perfectly and because a wind from the northwest or north-northwest is very good for Winter Park.
The best skiing should be on Wednesday afternoon after the new snow on Wednesday has softened the slopes, and since we will likely see snow continue on Wednesday night, I think Thursday morning will be very good as well.
Looking Ahead
A storm will track to the south of Colorado. While snow showers may hang around on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, accumulations should be light since the storm’s track will be pretty far away. I’ll let you know if this changes. Next week (April 15-19) should bring additional chances for snow. Closing day for Winter Park is April 21st and Mary Jane will be open through May 12th.
