Monday morning snow, and tracking two more storms for Winter Park

Summary

We’ll start the week with fresh turns on Monday morning, then additional storms should deliver more snow for Wednesday morning as well as next Sunday into Monday.

Short Term Forecast

Sunday and Sunday night brought intense snow with about 10 inches accumulating during the day on Sunday and then another 4 inches of fluff fell on Sunday night. Now on Monday morning, light snow showers could continue as the storm pulls away, and there will be fun fluff to enjoy with those 4 inches from Sunday night falling on a soft base leftover from Sunday. Any snow on Monday morning should end by mid-morning or midday and then we’ll transition to drying and clearing weather by Monday at sunset.

The break in the weather will not last long, though, as the next storm will push clouds and snow showers back into the sky by Tuesday midday or Tuesday afternoon. We should see snow showers on Tuesday night through Wednesday morning with 1-3 inches of accumulation and the best chance for some powder will be Wednesday morning’s first chair.

On Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, we will transition back to springtime with dry weather, more sunshine, and high temperatures in the 30s and 40s.

Extended Forecast

Snow will return starting around Saturday night and we should see snow accumulate through Sunday and into Monday. Then on Tuesday and Wednesday, I am not sure what will happen as a second storm could move in from the northwest with more snow, or the second storm may not come to fruition and in this case, we would see a return back to dry and warm springtime conditions.

Thanks for reading and check back each morning for daily updates!
