Sunny start to Sunday, then snow Sunday night

Summary

Most of Sunday will be a gorgeous spring day, then we'll see snow on Sunday night and maybe low-end powder amounts by Monday morning.

Update

Saturday started cloudy with a few snow showers and light accumulations, and then we saw more sunshine at the end of the day.

Now on Sunday morning, skies are clear and it's going to be sunny and dry through most of the day with a high temperature in the upper 20s to low 30s.

Snow will arrive late on Sunday afternoon or on Sunday evening, and the snow will continue through early Monday morning. Total snow should be in the 2-4 inch range. With favorable northwest winds into Monday morning, we might see a bit of an upside surprise with more than 4 inches. Even at the high end of the range (or above the range), I don't know that we'll call Monday morning a true powder morning, but this new snow will be a fun way to start the week!

Following the snow on Sunday night into Monday morning, we should see some sunshine return on Monday afternoon and the high temperature should be in the low 20s.

Tuesday will be sunny and warm with a high in the 30s.

The next storm will bring snow on Wednesday with maybe a couple of inches of accumulation during the day. From Wednesday night through Friday, energy from this storm could hang around and bring (potentially a lot more) snow showers with more snow accumulation. With a little luck, we could sneak out a powder day on Thursday.

Looking further ahead, next Saturday and Sunday (March 19-20) should be mostly dry and warmer with highs in the 30s, and then we could see more snow sometime around Sunday night into Monday (March 20-21).

Thanks for reading and please check back each morning for daily updates!
