On Wednesday, snow fell throughout the day with about 3 inches of accumulation. Then on Wednesday evening, an additional 1 inch accumulated (with deeper snow falling just to the west of the mountain).

This means that there will be soft snow and some untouched powder now on Thursday morning, and Thursday will be a gorgeous day with sunny skies and a high temperature in the 20s.

On Friday we will see dry weather, partly sunny skies, and a high temperature in the 30s.

On Saturday, it'll be the final day of dry weather with more clouds covering the sky and a high temperature in the 30s.

Then we'll move into a stormy weather pattern with three systems across about six days. The first storm should be Saturday night into Monday, the second storm should be Tuesday into Wednesday, and the third storm should be Thursday into Friday. The first storm may bring more snow to the southern mountains of Colorado, and it is still too early to know the details of the track and intensity of the second and third storms. It'll be an active week and I am looking forward to forecasting the fun weather:-)
