Friday and Friday Night

I expected mostly dry weather and just a few snowflakes on Friday, and we managed to squeeze out about 1 inch of snow on Friday night. This will provide just a bit of fluff to enjoy on Saturday morning.

Saturday

To contrast the previous week, Saturday will be dry with a decent amount of sunshine during the day. The high temperature will be in the low-to-mid 20s.

Sunday and Monday

Clouds and maybe some flurries will hang over the far northern mountains of Colorado, and that includes us, so unfortunately these days will likely not offer perfect sunshine and instead will be on the cloudier side. High temperatures should be in the low 30s.

Tuesday and Wednesday

Enjoy sunshine and warmer temperatures with highs in the mid-to-upper 30s. Due to the warmth during the day, and colder temperatures at night, there could be a melt/freeze crust on some slopes with crunchy conditions in the morning.

Thursday

The dry weather will continue on Thursday, though clouds ahead of our next storm will begin to filter the sunshine. The high temperatures should be in the mid-30s.

Friday, February 2 to Sunday, February 4

The next storm will arrive in Colorado with snow likely from Friday through Sunday. The track of this storm will be from southwest to northeast, and generally, that CAN be a favorable setup for high snow amounts at Winter Park, especially with the storm potentially strengthening and sticking around the area for a couple of days. So 72-hour snow totals could be significant.
