Aspen Mountain Opening Early for the 2018-2019 Ski Season

Aspen Mountain will open for the 2018-19 ski and snowboard season on Saturday, November 17th, a full five days ahead of schedule.

"With above-average snowpack and cold temperatures we have been hard at work preparing the mountain and we are excited to open early for the community and our visitors," said Katie Ertl, senior vice president of mountain operations. "Opening early is always a great way to kick-off the highly anticipated ski and snowboard season."

Snowmass is scheduled to open Thursday, November 22nd, followed by Aspen Highlands and Buttermilk on Saturday, December 8th.
