Forecast Verification: January 31, 2025 5-Day Snowfall

We looked back at the 5-day snow forecast from January 31, 2025, to compare against how much snow fell through Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at popular ski resorts with reliable snow reporting data across the Western United States.

Adding up these ski resort 5-day snow forecasts from January 31, 2025, and comparing them against the 5-day snow report as of February 4, 2025, we over-forecasted by 2% or scored 98% against the forecast.
