There's an app for that! iPhone app now available!

-- Update December 8, 2012 --

We no longer have an iPhone app. The app we had last year (referenced below) wasn't great, so we removed it from the app store. Our mobile site works very well, though, and has everything that our full site has and is formatted perfectly for your phone. Just head to OpenSnow.com on your iPhone and all should look good. Hit the button in the upper left (three horizontal lines) to show the menu and navigation. You can even bookmark the page to your homescreen (or another screen) and it looks and works similar to an app.

Head to the Apple app store and download the free app. If something doesn't work, email us at [email protected] so we can fix it. If it does work, please leave a positive review on the app store...every good review helps!

The app does two things really well:

    1. View and update LiveSnow (with ability to post a picture).

    1. Receive push alerts based on the Snow Alerts you set up.

If you want the forecast, snow reports, and basically everything on our regular site, just visit it on any smart phone and our mobile web site will give you everything you want. And on Android, you can post pictures to LiveSnow from the mobile site...no app required! It was not feasible for us to release an iPhone app this season with our ENTIRE feature set in the app, so we stuck to LiveSnow and Snow Alerts, and think this is pretty cool!

Thanks to Mobile Igniter (another Boulder start-up) for helping to get our app up and running. In fact, without them, we probably wouldn't have an app!
