Snow on the Distant Horizon
Summary
Warm days through a windy Wednesday. A dry cold front will move in late Wednesday with a dusting possible. Much colder Thursday and Friday. Next storm due late Sunday.
Short Term Forecast
Warm Spring-like conditions into Wednesday. Winds will be howling up top out of the west on Wednesday ahead of an approaching dry, cold front. We may see some very light snow late Wednesday into the overnight...nothing special. Chilly temps in store Thursday and Friday, with wind being a non factor. Warmer temps will settle in for the weekend with snow developing by Sunday afternoon.
Extended Forecast
The Sunday storm looks to move in during the afternoon to late afternoon hours. Models leaning towards a decent snow event Sunday night through Monday and possibly into Tuesday. Behind this storm a massive Pacific ridge looks to shut down the west coast storm barrage for an extended period into early March.
