The Splits! (not good news)

Summary

The upshot is that our current snowpack is much deeper than average and there is plenty of skiing to enjoy. The bad news is that the storm on Wednesday and Thursday now looks like it will make a perfect split around Colorado, leaving us with much less snow than I expected. This is a bummer, but at least the animation of the storm splitting around Colorado is so perfect that it made me laugh (see below). Anyway, Thursday morning could still bring some snow, and there will be another chance for snow on April 21-22.
