Christmas powder coming up

Summary

The storm on Saturday dropped significant snow over the northern mountains. After a brief break on Sunday, the next storm will bring snow from Sunday evening through Monday evening. The central and higher-elevation northern mountains will be favored for 6-12 inches with 3-6+ inches for most other mountains. The best time to ski powder will be Monday morning through early afternoon. Following this storm, it appears that the storm track will retreat a few hundred miles to our north, so we may see mostly dry weather for about one week until snow returns early in 2018.
