Heads up, there may be fresher snow! Read the latest Copper Mountain Daily Snow

Update

Looking back, Tuesday was a fantastic powder day at Copper with fresh snow in the morning and snow showers in the afternoon and evening that dropped an additional 2 inches. It looks like a half inch to an inch of this additional accumulation fell on Tuesday evening, so you might find a fresh dusting on some of the runs now on Wednesday morning.

The weather on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday should be dry with partly sunny skies and high temperatures in the low 30s.

The next chance for snow will extend from Friday evening through Saturday evening. Accumulations could reach a few inches, and Saturday will likely be the best day to ski fresh snow.

Sunday and Monday will return to dry weather, and then a storm will move close to Colorado next Monday night through Friday. If the storm moves directly across Colorado, then we’ll see moderate snow totals on Tuesday and Wednesday. If the storm takes a left turn and stalls to the southwest of Colorado, we might see dry weather through midweek with a chance for snow on Thursday and Friday. It’s too soon to know which of these scenarios, or another scenario, is more likely.

Thanks for reading and stay tuned for an update each morning!
