Copper Mountain Daily Snow

Heads up, there may be fresher snow! Read the latest Copper Mountain Daily Snow

The skies should stay mostly sunny on Monday and Tuesday, with clouds increasing on Wednesday in advance of our next storm. Expect some snow to fall late Wednesday night through Thanksgiving Day, though this storm looks like it’ll bring a bit less snow to Copper than I had originally hoped. My best estimate of snow totals on Thursday will be a couple of inches, so the slopes should feel soft, but Thanksgiving Day likely won’t be a full-on powder day.

We should see a break in the snow on Friday, and perhaps into early Saturday as well, then a second part of the Thanksgiving storm will move into Colorado over the weekend, and we’ll have another shot at seeing snow from Saturday through Sunday and perhaps even into Monday. I have low confidence in the snow totals during the weekend, so stay tuned and we’ll figure out if and when we’ll see our next powder day. Also, during the early season, ski patrol will occasionally offer directed skiing on new terrain, and the best way to find out about these opportunities is to download Copper’s free Sherpa app.
