Copper Mountain Daily Snow

Heads up, there may be fresher snow! Read the latest Copper Mountain Daily Snow

It’s another gorgeous day on Thanksgiving eve, and look for plenty of sun to start the day on Wednesday with more clouds during the afternoon and high temperatures in the mid 30s (or perhaps a bit warmer).

Our next storm will stall between Colorado and California from Wednesday night through Monday, and slow-moving storms that are not centered over Colorado do not often create a lot of snow for the northern mountains around Copper. Unfortunately, for this reason, I have lowered my snow forecast and am predicting just a dusting to an inch of snow during each day and night period from Wednesday through Sunday. There is a slightly higher chance for more snowfall late Sunday through Monday as the storm finally moves over Colorado. If you’re skiing during or just after Thanksgiving, expect to enjoy the groomers with perhaps a bit of natural fluff on top.
