Big Phat Powdery Tuesday

Summary

The Panhandle and West Central Mountains are reelin’ it in and there’s more to come. Today’s light snow showers will be accompanied by strong winds, especially over the highest ridges. We’ll get a little break in the action Wednesday and Thursday with a short-lived ridge of high pressure transitioning through. Friday will be the warmest day of the stretch, with a return of more snow overnight and through the weekend. Sunday’s bumper crop of new snow will bring temperatures back down with another cold frontal passage. Conditions will remain unsettled with additional chances for fresh snow through mid-March. It’s “madness” in a good way.
