Spring Has Sprung!

Summary

Monday and Tuesday will kick off the official start to Spring with weather much like past weekend – warm and breezy with rain showers. Snow above 7,000 feet is also expected early in the week before a major pattern change back to cool and snowy! Snow levels will drop down below 6,000 feet by Wednesday with the first of two storms. We’re not looking for much more than a couple inches with round one, but by Friday night we’ll get several more. I think the winner will be Sun Valley this weekend as the storm lingers awhile longer. Long-range outlooks still favor a back-and-forth of active spring weather, punctuated by storms moving in from the northwest. This should keep conditions relatively cool with a chance of snow at least once a week to start off the month of April.
