A Mixed Bag of weather in the next week…

Summary

The atmospheric river of warm moisture I eluded to on my last forecast will barely brush northwestern Montana this evening and Wednesday. North-Central Idaho and the panhandle will get the brunt of this system with 6 -12” of heavy wet snow (above 5000’) Wednesday night. Accumulating wet snow will fall at Whitefish and Lookout Pass thru Thursday. East of the Divide, not much in the way of precipitation unfortunately due to the strong high-pressure driving weather systems to the north and west. Sunday into early next week there looks to be a more organized system that has decent potential for areas on both sides of the Divide.
