Steamboat Daily Snow

Heads up, there may be fresher snow! Read the latest Steamboat Daily Snow

Our next chance of snow at Steamboat will occur on Wednesday night through Thanksgiving Day. While the overall setup of this storm is not conducive to heavy snowfall in northern Colorado, and my forecast is for just a couple of inches, there could be a narrow band of heavier snow that will move close to Steamboat, so there is a chance for an upside surprise of higher totals. And hey, we shouldn’t get too picky, as even a few inches of snow would be welcome for Opening Day on Thursday!

After the Thanksgiving snow, Friday should be dry, then a second part of the storm will move through over the weekend into early the following week, and this should mean additional snowfall for Steamboat. I have low confidence in the forecast for part two of this storm, so hang tight and I’ll provide more details over the coming days.
