Keep Asking Santa for Snow...

Summary

- Partly cloudy and windy for Thursday. Highs will be in the 40's. Winds will gust to 60+ mph over the ridges, so watch for potential lift issues. - Thursday night into Friday a weakening system moves through (broken record). We could see 0-2 inches on the mountains above 7,000 ft. Gusty winds continue Friday and colder temperatures with highs in the 30's on the mountains. - Saturday looks nice with lighter winds, sun, and highs in the 30's on the mountains. A storm moves through just to our north on Sunday and could brush us with some light snow showers. The main impacts should be gusty winds and clouds. - Monday into Tuesday is when a stronger and colder storm is set to move in. This storm could bring 12-18+ inches of snow to the mountains and several inches to lake level. Behind it, lots of cold air through the middle of next week with highs in the 20's on the mountains. A weak system could bring some more light snow Wednesday. - It looks like we will see high-pressure build in by Friday the 28th that could bring dry weather into the first week of January.
