Snow Levels Lower Than Expected...

Summary

Heavy rain and snow today with snow levels around 7500-8000 feet. The precip tapers off tonight by midnight with snow levels lowering close to lake level by the end. We could see over a foot on the mountains and a few inches at 7000 feet. We have a break Sunday and Monday with highs in the 30's. The next storm moves in Monday night and could last until Friday. This storm could start with snow levels at lake level and end at lake level, while rising near 8000 feet in the middle. This could be a significant snowfall event with several feet of snow on the mountains, and significant snow at lake level at the start and end. Colder air moves in next weekend as we could see another break in the storms for several days. We will try to get another cold storm in here before Christmas.
