It's April 12th...

Summary

Cloudy with a chance for light rain showers today and high elevation snow showers. Highs will be in the 40's, with ridge top winds gusting to 65+ mph. Tonight heavier precip moves in and snow levels begin to lower from 8000 feet to lake level by morning. By Thursday morning we could see 1-2 inches at lake level, and 1-8 inches on the mountains. Snow showers linger into Thursday with similar amounts of snow possible as we get Wednesday night. Highs will only be in the 30's and winds will be gusting to 60 mph on the mountain tops. High pressure builds in briefly for Friday and Saturday with sun and lighter winds. Highs will be in the 30's on the mountains Friday and 40's Saturday, then 40's and 50's for Saturday. Sunday the next storm begins to move in. Expecting only light showers for Sunday into Sunday night with snow levels starting around 8000 feet and then slowly falling to lake level Sunday night. Not expecting much accumulation. Another wave moves in Monday into Monday night that could bring some heavier precip. Snow levels may rise to 7000 feet and then fall to lake level again Monday night. We could see a couple inches of snow Monday and then several inches Monday night. We may have another break next Tuesday into Wednesday before another system may push in for Wednesday night into Thursday. That may be the last system before we head into a drier pattern.
