Teton Daily Snow

Lighter totals this week
Update
Our latest system delivered one inch to Jackson Hole and trace amounts to Grand Targhee on Sunday night. This will continue to be the story through Tuesday as the focus of the heaviest totals remains to our south and east. Look for 1-4 inches at Jackson Hole (above 8,000 feet) and similar amounts at Grand Targhee through midday Tuesday.
Clearing skies will then prevail by Tuesday night, followed by mostly sunny skies and dry conditions through Wednesday.
Our final storm for March will begin to make its presence felt on Wednesday night and into Thursday morning with increasing cloud cover and periods of light precipitation. I had hopes late last week that this system would give us a favorable storm track but all indications are for it to drop well to our south on Thursday and into Friday.
The graphic below is the latest snow forecast, according to the American GFS, through Friday.
As you can see, we'll still pick up light totals but the best accumulations will remain to our south and east. If you are looking to chase powder, I'd have my sights on the Wasatch in Utah or areas along and east of the Continental Divide in Colorado.
Looking further ahead, we should have a beautiful start to the weekend. We'll then turn to Sunday and early next week for our next shot at decent accumulations.
