Vail Daily Snow

Heads up, there may be fresher snow! Read the latest Vail Daily Snow

Happy Thanksgiving! As I type this on Thursday morning, it appears that a band of light to moderate snow is just moving over Vail mountain from the west, near Lionshead. Therefore, we might see an hour of two of light to moderate snow, which could coat and soften the groomers. Enjoy it!

We should see chances for snow continue from Thursday through next Monday as a storm wobbles and stalls to the west of Colorado. I am keeping my forecasted snow accumulations light during this time, with the best chance for 1-3 inches to fall Friday night through midday Saturday and again from Sunday night through Monday. I am sorry that I am being so wishy-washy with the forecast, but this is a difficult storm to predict and I hate to over-promise snowfall and disappoint all of us snow lowers. So, enjoy the great terrain available (most of the front side of the mountain!) and let’s hope to see more snow than is in my forecast.
