Heads up, there may be fresher snow! Read the latest Winter Park Daily Snow

Update

It’s now early on Saturday morning and, unfortunately, things did not work out as planned.

Actual snowfall was 2 inches very late on Friday afternoon with another 2 inches falling on Friday evening, so you’ll find a total of about 4 inches on Saturday morning. Temperatures range from about 27F at the base to 20F at the summit.

The intense snow that I was expecting on Friday afternoon, evening, and night never materialized. It looks like some dry air wrapped around the storm, which killed the band of heavier precipitation as it moved north and east across Colorado. It’s a real bummer that the actual snow total didn’t get up to even my low-end forecast of 8 inches, but we might see a few more snow showers during Saturday morning and midday, so it’s possible we’ll get to 8 inches by the time the storm finally pulls away on Saturday afternoon.

Winter Park's last day of the season will be on Sunday, April 22nd, and we should see plenty of sunshine with high temperatures in the mid-40s.

Also, Mary Jane's last day will be Sunday, May 6th, so there will be another two weeks of skiing at the Jane!

Thanks for reading and stay tuned for my final update of the season on Sunday, April 22nd.
