The Rewards of a Blown Forecast

Summary

After another weekend of wild weather, a topping of dry snow is falling for mountains throughout Southcentral Alaska. Surprisingly low snow levels allowed for significant growth of snowpack in the Chugach. We quickly move into a prolonged dry period with arctic temperatures this week. Strong outflow winds will fire up on Wednesday and will be mostly an issue at Summit Pass and Seward.
