Thursday Storm on Track

Summary

Snow flies shortly before sunrise Thursday 3/30 and goes through a windy day. Sticking with the previous forecast storm total 7-15" for Snowbowl, Sunrise 3-6".

Short Term Forecast

Winds are cranking out of the southwest as I post Wednesday afternoon, though Gondola spinning, don't expect this to be the case Thursday morning. Snow begins shortly pre sunrise Thursday and goes through the day. The storm is trending a bit more robust and thinking it will be dumping through the day Thursday. Strongest winds will be for the first half of the day shifting east during the afternoon, there's hope for getting up top during the afternoon. Snow continues into Thursday evening, shifting into eastern AZ (Sunrise during the overnight). Friday winds quickly diminish, suns out, bluebird powder day!

Extended Forecast

Over the weekend temps warm way up and sun shines. Sunday southwest winds will once again be on the increase as another trough develops across the West. Monday looks to be windy ++ ahead of a storm due Tuesday. Snow with the Tuesday system not overly exciting at the moment. Could get interesting later in the week as winter keeps up the good fight.

Announcements

I'm off on vaca through early next week....don't have too much fun without me.
