Update

A little over an inch fell last night and flurries are still floating around the mountain this morning with an 8am temp of 5 at the base area. The sun will likely shine through the clouds by late morning bringing a mostly sunny forecast today with continued chilly daytime highs of around 14 at 8000’. West/NW winds will be light around 10mph at 8000'. Sunday will deliver more clouds with snow showers with maybe another inch possible but a few sunny breaks are also possible with daytime highs in the mid to upper teens. Monday looks to be another mix of sun and clouds before clouds increase Tuesday afternoon ahead of a vigorous low-pressure system that looks to bring moderate to heavy snow amounts New Year’s Day into Thursday.
