Update

A warm front has brought in clouds as well as upper elevation winds overnight. As of 7:30am Friday clouds are hovering over Lone Mountain with a temp of 20 degrees in the village. Expect a mostly cloudy day today with seasonally warm daytime highs in the upper 20’s at 8000’. West/SW Winds will be increasing into the afternoon at 20-25mph with higher gusts into the 30’s. A few snow showers will also be possible this afternoon. A passing cold front on Saturday morning will bring gusty winds up to 45mph and perhaps another few inches through the day on Saturday along with dipping temps back into the low 20’s (8000’). Sunday will see clearing and decreasing winds with a mix of sun and clouds with colder daytime highs of 17-20 at 8000’. Ridging will develop Monday and looks to bring a mostly dry forecast through Wednesday. Snow then is expected to return Thursday into Friday.
