7AM Monday Update

Update

As of 7am Monday morning 2” have fallen overnight at the Challenger snow stake with cloudy skies and a temperature of 9 degrees in the village. Monday will see cloudy skies with scattered snow showers with possibly another inch. High temperatures rise to around 15 (at 8000’) by noon when frigid air enters the region with temps falling back into the single digits by last chair. Southwest winds 18-23mph with gusts up to 30mph will make it a bit blustery across the alpine areas. Another small disturbance moves in Tuesday bringing light snow with about 2-5” possible through the day with high temps back up into the mid-teens at 8000’. Wednesday looks like a reprieve with partly sunny skies before another small system brushes us on Thursday into Thursday night.
