Fresh Snow Sunday

Update

As of 8am Sunday morning 2” have fallen overnight at the Challenger snow stake with light snow and a temperature of 11 degrees in the village. Sunday will see continued light snow through the morning with another 1-2” likely before decreasing to mostly cloudy skies by this afternoon. High temperatures around 15-17 (at 8000’) along with Southwest winds 15-20mph with gusts up to 25mph will bring the chill factor in the alpine to about -3. Another small disturbance moves in Sunday night into Monday with another inch or two possible. Unsettled skies will continue to bring an inch or two daily into Wednesday. The frigid arctic air previously advertised to move in next week now does not look to make its way to the Big Sky area fortunately.
