8AM Wednesday Update

Update

As of 8am Wednesday morning there’s a skiff at the Challenger snow stake with clear blue skies over Lone Mountain and a crisp temperature of -1 degrees in the village. Today expect sunny skies throughout the day but staying chilly with a high temperature expected to be around 13 at 8000’.  South winds will be light to moderate 10-15mph with gusts up to 25mph bringing the chill factor to around -10. 

Thursday clouds return with a few flurries possible with daytime highs rising into the mid 20’s at 8000’. An upper level low-pressure system moves in Thursday night and into the day on Friday that looks to bring around 2-4” through last chair Friday. The MLK weekend looks dry with mostly cloudy skies with sunny breaks and seasonal daytime highs ranging from 20 to 25 degrees at 8000’. High-pressure builds for the first part of next week keeping the sun shining with slightly warmer temps.
