Blower Monday

Update

At 8am Monday morning about 6.5” of new snow has fallen overnight at the Challenger snow stake with light snow continuing to fall and a temperature of 8 degrees in the village. For today expect snowy skies into the late morning with a few more inches possible then a little clearing by afternoon (clouds mainly) and a high temperature of around 14 degrees at 8000’. Winds will be light/moderate out of the North at 10-15mph with gusts up to 20mph.

Tuesday morning will generally be dry before a weak system brings increasing chances of snow by afternoon with a good chance for a few more inches by Tuesday night. Another shortwave rolls through Tuesday night into Wednesday morning for another few inches of topping by first chair. Thursday looks to be a mix of sun, clouds and a few snow showers thrown in with continuing moderating daytime high temps into the mid 20’s at 8000’. Currently I’m watching a slightly stronger system for the Friday/Saturday time frame that I’ll keep you updated on. Thanks for reading and enjoy real Montana cold smoke pow today...
