Breezy Tuesday

Update

At 8am Tuesday morning no new snow has fallen overnight with overcast skies and a temperature of 6 degrees in the village. For today expect cloudy skies with sporadic snow flurries, especially across the alpine areas and a high temperature of around 22 degrees at 8000’. SW winds will constantly be increasing through the day starting off 10-15mph this morning and increasing to 20-30mph with gusts up to 40mph this afternoon. This will make things a bit blustery up high.

A shortwave disturbance is still on to roll through the area tonight into Wednesday morning with 4-6” entirely possible before noon and a high of 20 at 8000’. Thursday looks to be a mix of sun and clouds with continuing moderating daytime temps into the mid 20’s at 8000’. Yet another shortwave system is expected for Friday/Saturday with another several inches possible. Thanks for reading.
